About MITO
MITO combines three compounds that all act on mitochondrial function, each at a different point, which is the reason they are put together rather than chosen between.
SS-31 works structurally. It concentrates inside the mitochondrion and binds cardiolipin, the phospholipid that organises the inner membrane, with the aim of restoring the geometry the electron transport chain depends on. MOTS-c is a mitochondrial derived peptide, encoded in mitochondrial rather than nuclear DNA, and acts as a signalling molecule influencing AMPK activation and metabolic homeostasis. NAD+ is the substrate side of the equation: the coenzyme that the electron transport chain and the sirtuins both require, and which declines measurably with age.
So the blend addresses membrane structure, metabolic signalling and coenzyme availability in one cartridge. NAD+ dominates by mass at 200mg because it is used in far larger quantities than the two peptides, not because it is the primary component.
Where the evidence sits: all three components have research behind them and SS-31 in particular has completed phase III trials, albeit with mixed results. What does not exist is any study of the three administered together, and NAD+ injection specifically has far more marketing behind it than clinical evidence. None of the three is a licensed medicine.

Three compounds with quite different dose scales in one cartridge, where a single dial position gives all three in fixed proportion. Each unit delivers 33mcg each of SS-31 and MOTS-c alongside 0.67mg of NAD+.
