The pen format

This is where SerenQ does things differently. Instead of a lyophilised powder that has to be reconstituted, MT2 arrives as a solution already loaded into a graduated injection pen with a dial and a dose window.

Handling and storage

MT2 against the other “skin” peptides

MT2 is a melanocortin receptor agonist. It stimulates melanin production, it does not paint you, and UV exposure is still what triggers the tanning response. People expecting colour without any sun are usually disappointed.

It is frequently grouped with GHK-Cu as a skin peptide, and the two have almost nothing in common. GHK-Cu is about structure, collagen, elastin, repair. MT2 is about pigment. Neither does the other’s job.

The reason the pen format matters more here than elsewhere: MT2 is used in very small amounts, and it was traditionally a powder measured by eye in an insulin syringe. Small absolute errors are large proportional ones, and the difference between a reasonable amount and an unpleasant afternoon is not wide.

One caution worth stating plainly: MT2 darkens existing moles and freckles along with everything else, which makes the changes that actually matter harder to spot.
